As CEO of the William Henry Smith Foundation, I am incredibly proud to lead a vibrant and ambitious community dedicated to transforming the lives of children and young adults.
Across our School & Sixth Form, Specialist College, and Therapeutic Children’s Home, we provide highly personalised education, care, health, and therapeutic support. While each part of our Foundation is distinctive, we are united by one clear purpose: to create the relationships, environments and opportunities that enable every young person to become the very best they can be.
Relationships sit at the heart of everything we do. Our trauma-informed, neuro-affirming approach means we seek to understand the whole child, looking beyond presenting behaviour with compassionate curiosity and recognising the experiences, strengths and individual needs that make every young person unique.
We believe children and young adults flourish when they feel safe, understood, valued and that they truly belong. From that foundation, we build aspiration, independence, and opportunity, holding high expectations while providing the individual support each young person needs to thrive.
